“Live who you are” is Corcoran and Nelcida Chakoffs mantra when assisting her clientele in the purchase of their residence. Ms. Chakoff considers every purchase as one of the largest investments her clients will ever make. Therefore, Ms. Chakoffs goal is to maximize the return of her clients’ investment whether they reside in the property for 5, 10, 15 or 30 years.
Prior to joining Corcoran as a broker associate and investment specialist, she achieved much success in the arena of national and international finance for tourist hotel resorts, residential project development and government affairs. Her expertise brings much confidence to her clientele when buying and selling properties.
Ms. Chakoff obtained a degree in Economics from Florida International University with a certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and a minor in Business Administration.

Since 1987 Ms. Chakoff has maintained a strong presence in the sales and acquisition of hotels, ranging from corporate to luxury resorts. She worked with 28 major national and international hotel chains, consulting on investment strategy and coordinating all aspects of hotel acquisitions.
Ms. Chakoff was the CEO and a founding member of the Global Free Trade Zone Conference and Exhibit. This conference was sponsored by state and local governments and was attended by seventy-eight countries. The conference has continued to grow and takes place every two years in Taiwan.
For 16 years Ms. Chakoff worked at Fortune International Realty, where in 2006 she was awarded “Top Producer.” Among her sales was the development site at 17475 Collins Avenue for $27 million, where today is the Chateau Beach Residences.
In the private sector Ms. Chakoff was the owner and president of Citizen Financial Service Corporation, which had 170 affiliated brokers and 63 employees. She served as a mortgage consultant to Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Inc. During her tenure, she specialized at establishing Marketing Agreement Accounts with developers. Her efforts realized a pipeline that closed over $10 million per month.
She specialized in international and national site development as well as sales and marketing of Real Estate and luxury waterfront homes.
AWARDS
For more than two decades, Ms. Chakoff, the founder of the Dominican-American Chamber of Commerce has been offering her volunteer services to numerous civic and community organizations such as University of Miami Lowe Art Museum, American Red Cross, Children Survival Network, Liga Contra el Cancer, and Project Care for the Earth, to name just a few.
Thanks to her dedication to promote Miami’s international commerce, Hon. Xavier Suarez, Mayor of the City of Miami, Florida proclaimed, Sunday February 28, 1993, as Nelcida Chakoff Day.
